It's officially 46 minutes past Saturday, but I don't care because my pumpkin is complete. Tomorrow (today) it will be on display, where it will more than likely get completely destroyed by either:
a) hoodlums
b) mike and casey
c) lilly, the massive pitbull next door
d) a strategically placed shot by Luke Skywalker down the thermal exhaust port
by the way, I have been holding out on pictures for the best reasons. no worries :)
cheers

day three... belated
My pumpkin died today...okay yester-yester-day (as it is now Sunday). It had a blow out in the back, which is completely fixable. And it still looks epic...
So since I still have to "blog" for Saturday......

day two
Crap.
That's all I have to say about the situation.
So I was impatient. I cut the whole in my pumpkin, and I cut it wrong.
So my pumpkin lid doesn't stay, it falls through. I'll fix it somehow.....
However I do have a trashcan full of pumpkin guts that weighs just a little less then my now empty pumpkin shell.
Let's hope tomorrow goes better.
I will post pictures of my progress later, I have to convert them all to jpegs first....

day one
Sooooooo...I have decided, after much research, discussion, and hours of intense pondering; that I am going to carve the most epic pumpkin ever. The Death Star Pumpkin. Yes, I know. It will be grandiose, and most importantly, insanely awesome.
Today consisted of finding the perfect pumpkin, which I believe I have done. Not sure how much it weighs, because the cashier's register can't weigh produce over 35 lbs.
Hopefully I will have a rough idea of how to begin this masterpiece soon...that might be a good start.
I hope to have pictures up tomorrow on my progress!
